Making consumers aware of the fabulous products and services that your credit union offers is critically important to not only cultivating new member relationships but also strengthening existing ones. It can also be a risky business. Not only are there several prescriptive requirements under the Truth in Lending and Truth in Savings Acts, but there are also fair lending and UDAAP considerations. And let’s not forget about the CAN-SPAM Act and managing risk associated with social media advertising.
Don’t try to navigate this winding road alone. Join InfoSight360’s Director of Regulatory Compliance Counsel Michael Christians on Tuesday, May 26th at 2pm ET to learn about all the essentials. During this jam-packed two-hour session, participants will learn about:
- Advertising requirements under Regulation Z and NCUA Part 707,
- Fair lending considerations under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act and Fair Housing Act,
- Avoiding unfair, deceptive, and abusive advertisements,
- E-mail marketing essentials under the CAN-SPAM Act, and
- Tips for building out a social media advertising strategy.
Attendees will also learn about the marketing and advertising compliance resources available in InfoSight360 and CU Policy Pro.
